This Podcast was originally born by a simple wish to do something different. We thought nobody would care, let alone listen. To our great surprise, the Pod has blossomed and we now get listening figures we could never have imagined. Since our inception in July 2017, many people have asked us about making a contribution, allowing the Pod to continue in the spirit in which it has developed. We resisted during the first season but, as we’ve continued on, your support has become more and more important to TSP.

What’s it worth to you?

We would like to think that you enjoy the Podcast – or at least get something out of it.

Producing them isn’t an easy task, and it’s not one without cost either. Nobody at TSP is looking to get rich out of the Podcast, but all we ask is that if you are downloading each week, and are getting value out of the content, you help fund it if you feel you can. Season 2023-24 once again saw TSP truly underpinned by our patrons and we’re hopeful of continuing that momentum – and support – into 2024/25.

Why this pricing structure?

Having previously had a ‘one size fits all’ monthly banding, we want to offer our patrons more flexibility for 2024/25.

With that in mind, we now have four different Patreon tiers – Bobby Stokes, James Beattie, Francis Benali and Mick Channon – make up the TSP structure for this season.

So, depending on exactly how much (or little) you’d like to invest in our podcast, we’re delighted to offer supporters, listeners and viewers more variety to choose from.

Bobby Stokes Tier

£5+VAT per month

Bobby Stokes scored Southampton’s most famous goal. His 83rd minute strike against Manchester United, on the 1st May 1976, helped bring the FA Cup back to the South Coast.

As a tribute to the great man, our ‘Bobby Stokes Tier’ simply allows you to support the podcast and it’s ongoing effort to be in the ears of every Saints fan!

Francis Benali MBE made over 350 appearances for Saints between 1988 and 2003. Having since gone on to raise thousands of pounds for charity, provide top-quality TV punditry and also receive the freedom of the City, he is quite simply ‘Mr Southampton’!
