The Team

In Front of the Camera…

Martin Starke

Martin Starke

Martin is the host of Total Saints Podcast.

He is a lifelong Saints fan and was a Junior Saints Season Ticket holder at The Dell.

Favourite memories include watching Saints in the 1992 Zenith Data Systems Final at Wembley (despite the result!), witnessing those famous Matt Le Tissier goals against Newcastle in 1993 and also the final day demolition of Coventry City at St. Mary’s, in 2012, which secured promotion back to the Premier League.

During the week, Martin is a presenter, producer and DJ based in Surrey.

Steve Grant

Steve Grant

Steve is the owner of SaintsWeb, and has had a Saints season ticket since 1995.

If he’s not watching club football then it’s normally the International scene for Steve, as he also follows England home and away.

Renowned for never sitting on the fence, Steve always tells it how it is (just ask Charlie Austin…) – and that’s why he’s such a valued member of the TSP team.

Glen de la Cour

Glen de la Cour

The ‘yin’ to Steve’s. er, ‘yin’, Glen never sits on the fence either!

Writer of the magnificent* League One Minus Ten Blog – which provides a humorous weekly look into Saints on-field efforts – Glen once scored a 40-yard strike (give or take 10-20 yards….) at The Dell… before celebrating in true Mick Channon ‘windmill’ style.

Glen loves his family, Saints and regularly swearing… but has a long-term dislike of Cedric Soares, Mario Lemina and Wesley Hoedt!

Alfie House

Alfie House

Alfie is the Senior Saints Reporter for the Southern Daily Echo, travelling up and down the country and rarely missing a game.

While Glen and Steve shoot from the hip, his professional role means he attempts to offer a more balanced view where there is one – although that is not always easy.

With insight into Staplewood, the manager’s office and boardroom, as well as keeping tabs on our famous academy. From Somerset. Grows a moustache because of David Seaman – long story.

Alistair Downs

Alistair Downs

A lifelong Saints fan from the Dell days, Al is a Graphic Designer and creator of all things visual at the Total Saints Podcast!

From the pod logo to products in the online shop – Al is always looking for the next fun design for his fellow Saints fans – have an idea? Feel free to contact him (links below).

Having attended some of Saints most iconic games over the years (last game at the Dell, I was there when Frannie scored etc…) Al swapped the U.K. for the U.S. in 2014 when he moved to New York. He now has his mornings rather than his afternoons routinely ruined by watching Saints!
